Location and distance
For optimal viewing, the television must be positioned right opposite the couch or bedroom. It is important to remember that if the wall where it is mounted receives direct or reflected sunlight, there may be glare that will reduce picture quality. However, if you do not have a choice and are mounting your television in a sun-facing room, you can use blinds or heavy curtains to reduce the brightness.
To determine the correct viewing distance, divide the screen size of the television in half, and then add that to the screen size. For example – a 60 inch TV should be viewed from a 90 inch distance.
